Company News
Guided by the Bureau of Science, Industry and Information Technology of Liwan District, Guangzhou, hosted by the Guangzhou Institute of Future Additive Manufacturing, and co-organized by our company, the "Explore the Wonderful World of Robots — A Series of Popular Science Activities Bringing Robots to Communities" was successfully launched with great fanfare in Dongjiao Sub-district. Through a variety of engaging formats including interesting lectures, physical product displays and interactive games, the event guided teenagers in the community to lift the veil of mystery surrounding robotics, sowing the seeds of scientific and technological innovation in their young minds.
Our R&D Team Leader Introduces Robotic Products
At the kickoff of the event, Mr. Liang, leader of our company's R&D team, opened with a thought-provoking question: "What kinds of robots can we find around us?" This immediately energized the audience. Following this, he took the participants of all ages on a "time travel journey of the robot family", showcasing the Bambu Lab A1 3D Printer, FinRay-inspired Gripper Robot, 3D-printed Cable-driven Manipulator and Negative Pressure Pneumatic Muscle one by one. The demonstrations drew gasps of amazement from the crowd. "This can print objects of different shapes!" and "I can really feel how powerful robots are!" exclaimed the young attendees.
A Lively and Enthusiastic Atmosphere
The event featured a number of interactive mini-games. "Gripper Message Relay Challenge" and "Gripper Attack & Defense Battle" allowed the children to get up close and personal with the fin-type gripper robot, experiencing the functions of its "vital components" such as the visual sensor and pressure sensor. In the "Manipulator Rock-Paper-Scissors Showdown", the kids took control of the robotic manipulator to compete against human opponents, gaining first-hand experience of robotic technologies.
Human-Robot Interaction
This "Robots Enter Communities" science popularization campaign translated specialized technological knowledge into easy-to-understand language and highly entertaining experiences. It narrowed the gap between teenagers and robotic technologies, sparking their enthusiasm for scientific exploration. Meanwhile, it demonstrated that our company’s flexible robots are not only designed for industrial applications but can also be transformed into educational tools for science popularization, perfectly embodying the high safety standards of flexible robotics.
